Good bike, easy savings

Got a great deal on my electric gravel bike during their clearance event. The automatic discount applied right at checkout which was nice. Only wish the handlebar grips came in more colors.

mostly good, but a small hiccup

last week i finally ordered those replacement tires for my Aventon, and the checkout with ID.me was super fast, which i love! everything else was smooth sailing and the tires are great quality, but my package took an extra two days to arrive than what was estimated. not a huge deal, but i was really excited to get them on. i'll still shop again for sure, but hope shipping is quicker next time!

Fast shipping, great quality

I ordered a replacement charger for my e-bike. It shipped quickly and arrived in 4 days. The charger works perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

Good bike, delivery had a hiccup

I bought the Photon electric bike a few weeks ago. The bike itself is pretty solid for the price; it handles well and the motor assist is quite powerful, which I appreciated on my commute. Assembly was straightforward enough with the provided tools. My main gripe was with the shipping – it took 9 days to reach me in Arizona, and the tracking information wasn't updated consistently. Also, the box arrived with a small dent, though the bike inside was undamaged. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping delay, which was a plus. Overall, a decent purchase, but they could improve on delivery transparency.

Good value for a first e-bike

I was looking for my first electric bike and found Superhuman Bikes during their Memorial Day sale. I ended up getting a cruiser ebike and felt the discount made it a really good deal. I saved about $300, which was great for my budget. The checkout process was smooth, and I also signed up for their newsletter for an extra offer, though I didn't use it on this purchase. For the price I paid, the quality of the bike is impressive. It feels sturdy and the battery life is decent for my daily rides. Definitely felt like I got good value for my money.

What's the deal with their military discount? Do you need to do something special or just show your ID at checkout?

A Andre 2 months ago

You usually have to go through ID.me for those kinds of discounts. It's pretty standard for online stores.

Yeah, I used ID.me for my first responder discount, pretty sure it's the same for military. Just links up to a verification service.

Does Superhuman Bikes ever have sales beyond the usual holiday stuff? Like, can I expect any deals pop up randomly or is it just the big dates?

M Marcus J. 2 months ago

They do seasonal clearance sometimes, especially around spring or fall. Sign up for their newsletter, that's where I usually see those.

Not really random, but yeah like the other person said, clearance events. And sometimes they'll do bundle deals with accessories.

So, if I get a HyperScorpion and it's not quite right, what's the return policy like? Is it a huge hassle?

A Alex 2 months ago

nah returns were easy, did it last month for an accessory.

For the actual bikes, you gotta check their policy but usually, there's a timeframe and it has to be in new condition. Definitely read the fine print on bikes since they're big items, but general stuff is usually smooth.

Anyone compared the Superhuman Bikes road bikes to like, Aventon? Trying to decide between the two, mostly for commuting and some weekend rides.

C Colin R. 2 months ago

Superhuman bikes are generally more performance focused, aventon is good but a bit more casual sometimes. depends on what kind of riding you do.

S Sam 2 months ago

I test rode both. Superhuman felt a bit more robust and faster, but Aventon was a bit cheaper. Superhuman won for me.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a Photon e-bike. Anyone know how long shipping usually takes to say, California? Need it for a trip.

M Mia 2 months ago

Mine took about a week to get to LA, maybe 8 days max. Was pretty quick.
